1963-2023 60 anni di storia non si possono raccontare in poche righe. Ogni giorno, dalla nascita dell’azienda Galbiati Fratelli, l’esperienza matura e si completa sempre di più. Le creazioni nascono dalla combinazione tra la lavorazione tradizionale e quella tecnologica di ultima generazione. Ogni pezzo d’arredo può avere alcuni componenti in fusione realizzati con la tecnica dello stampo in sabbia o a cera persa, abbinati ad altri pezzi tagliati dal materiale pieno con la tecnica del lasercut o del waterjet. Le volute ed i riccioli sono in barra piena curvata a mano dove, seguendo una forma vengono modellati a caldo. Sono incorniciati in strutture lavorate meccanicamente con utensili a controllo computerizzato.
Galbiati inizia la sua produzione negli anni ‘60 con piccoli articoli di arredo classici, come tavolini, specchiere, consolle, poltroncine e sedie. Negli anni ‘70 ed ‘80 si introduce la produzione di letti in ottone e ferro battuto per il mercato italiano ed europeo, con una vasta gamma di modelli classici e moderni. Oggi l’azienda è giunta alla realizzazione di progetti “tailor made”. Pezzi unici realizzati su disegno, balaustre finemente decorate, arredi classici e contemporanei vengono pensati nei minimi dettagli, lavorati con precisione e rifiniti con pazienza e accuratezza, per soddisfare le aspettative del cliente.

1963-2023 60 years of history can not be told in a few lines. Day by day, since the birth of Galbiati Fratelli Company, we’ve gained more experience and become more mature. The creations are born from the combination between traditional processing and the latest technology. Each piece of furniture may have some cast components made with sand or lost wax technique, combined with other pieces cut from solid material with the lasercut or waterjet technique. The scrolls and curls are made of bars formed by hand, following a design, while they’re still hot. They are framed in mechanical structures with computer monitoring systems.
Galbiati began its production in the 60s with a small number classic furniture, coffee tables,mirrors,consoles, small armchairs and chairs. In the 70’s and 80’s the brass and wrought iron beds for Italy and Europe, with a wide range of classic and modern models. Today the company has come to perfectly realize “tailor made” projects. Unique pieces made on demand,finely decorated banisters, fine detailed classic and contemporary furnishings, built with precision and finished with patience and accuracy, to meet customer expectations.

Il punto d’inizio è un semplice foglio bianco su cui iniziare a sviluppare le linee e le proporzioni di un prodotto. Da qui si passa alla progettazione vera e propria di ogni componente per dare poi inizio alle lavorazioni. Tutti i prodotti sono lavorati con metodi artigianali. La mano dell’uomo è il primo strumento di lavoro, ogni movimento è guidato dall’esperienza acquisita nel corso di anni di pratica e passione. L’ottone grezzo, in tubi, barre o in fusione, viene modellato e lavorato finemente, lucidato, eventualmente dorato o argentato e infine protetto con una vernice a forno trasparente per garantire la sua preziosità nel tempo.
The starting point is a simple white sheet on which developing the lines and proportions of a product starts. From here we move on to the actual design of each component to then start the work. All products are processed with artisanal methods. The human hand is the first tool of work, each movement is guided by the experience gained over the years of practice and passion. The raw brass, in pipes, bars or in casting, is modeled and worked finely, polished, possibly gilded or silvered and finally protected with a transparent oven varnish to ensure its preciousness over time.
